Woman Went Shopping After Allegedly Killing Two Of Her Roommates
After becoming infuriated over being asked to leave her roommates’ home, a woman allegedly stabbed them multiple times. She was charged with attempted first degree murder.
At roughly 8:03 a.m. Friday, deputies from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office in Florida received a call from one of the stabbing victims informing them that he had been stabbed. At that time, the incident took place in Florida.
Christina Adams, 30, was identified by the victim as the alleged suspect. She also previously attacked one other person in their home, according to the sheriff’s office.
A few minutes after receiving the call, deputies from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office spotted Adams driving not far from the attack site. She was detained and interviewed by detectives, but initially denied involvement.
It was later revealed to detectives that [Adams] was angry after being asked to leave the home with the victims. According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Adams retrieved a large knife and then stabbed both victims several times. After Adams believed the victims were dead, she attempted to destroy evidence and then left the scene. She then changed her clothing and went shopping after the attack.”
The Marion County Jail has incarcerated Adams without bond, charging her with two counts of attempted first degree murder and tampering with evidence. She has not yet been represented by an attorney.
In a statement, Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods said, “These senseless acts of violence are shocking to all of us.” In addition to providing aid to the victims, my deputies and detectives worked so quickly to capture such an evil person and make sure our streets are safe. “I am very proud of my deputies and detectives.”
