Solar Eclipse after Diwali 2022: Why Govardhan Puja Will Take Place On October 26, Not October 25?
Solar eclipse 2022: The Solar Eclipse Won't Be Visible In The Northeast In 2022, Due To Weather Conditions
The Govardhan Puja is normally held a day after Diwali celebrations. However, this year Diwali is on October 24 and Govardhan puja is on October 26. This is due to the partial solar eclipse that occurred on October 25, the day following Diwali. This is because eclipses, a celestial phenomenon, can have a huge impact on people’s lives from a astrological standpoint.
Because the eclipse will be a day after Diwali and will start at 4 p.m., its ‘sutak yoga’ will start at 4 a.m. on Friday, October 25. Because of the sutak period, Govardhan puja will be held on the day following Diwali.
Temples will have to be closed during the Surya Grahan Sutak period in order to avoid touching idols. It is recommended that children, elderly and ill people eat three hours before the eclipse as per astrology. During the eclipse period, people should pray. In the aftermath of the eclipse, clean the house with Ganga Jal and sanitize it.
The solar eclipse will be visible in some parts of Europe and North Africa as well as parts of the Middle East if you are located in the northeast. However, it will not be visible in the northeast.
Siliguri, Delhi, Jaisalmer, Mumbai, and Bengaluru are the places where the solar eclipse is scheduled to occur over the next two hours. Tidal waves hit Bengaluru, Nagpur and Chennai at the same time.
