Students of Chandigarh University of Punjab have been agitating after a video of a girl student taking a bath went viral. On Saturday night, the university students protested fiercely over this issue. The protesting students have alleged that there have been deaths and injuries to those related to the incident. However, Mohali SSP Vivek Sheel Soni denied the claim.

Assuring Chandigarh University students that the guilty will not be spared, Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains appealed to them to remain calm. The Punjab State Commission for Women Chairperson Manisha Gulati has also commented on this matter. “This is a serious matter, very sad. I am here to assure the parents of all the students that the accused will not be spared. The matter is currently being investigated.”
