New Maruti Alto K10 has arrived, new Look-Strong Feature, the price is less than four lakhs

Alto is the best selling car not only of Maruti Suzuki but also of the country. After its first launch in the year 2000, the company has launched many updates of Alto in the market. To capitalize on its ready-made popularity in the Indian market, Maruti Suzuki has relaunched the Alto K10 that was discontinued two years ago with a new look.

The country’s largest passenger car company Maruti Suzuki launched the All New Alto K10 2022 today on Thursday. Maruti Suzuki’s Alto is the best selling car in India. The company had stopped production of Alto K10 in 2020 and now it has been launched in a new updated version. For this reason people were eagerly waiting for the new version of Maruti Alto K10. The ex-showroom price of Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 starts at Rs 3.99 Lakh.

Maruti Suzuki completes 40 years in India

Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO, Maruti Suzuki India said on the occasion that his company has completed 40 years of starting operations in India. For this reason, the year 2022 is special for Maruti Suzuki. He said that when cars were considered only for the rich, then Maruti launched low-cost cars. He said that small cars helped India become the fourth largest car market in the world. Even though the demand for SUVs has increased in India now, a large number of people still prefer the hatchback. That’s why we are launching a new version of Alto. It has been the best selling car for 16 consecutive years till the year 2020.

100 Alto sales per hour

Takeuchi said that this car has a 1.0-litre K-series dual jet, dual VVT engine, which is capable of giving a mileage of 24.9 kmpl. The company’s Senior Executive Director (Marketing and Sales) Shashank Srivastava shared some interesting figures on the occasion. He told that during the last 22 years, 100 Altos have been sold every hour. So far, more than 43 lakh units have been sold. Regarding the prospects of the Indian car market, he said that India currently has only 32 cars per 1000 people, while in America it is more than 800 on average.

Customize as you like

CV Raman, Chief Technical Officer, Maruti Suzuki India gave information about its design. He said that it has been given updates like friendly interface, floating infotainment system, smart seating layout, without cabin space. To make driving easier, Maruti Suzuki has given auto shift gear in this car. It also has more than 15 safety features including double front airbags, anti-braking system. The company has launched the new Alto in 6 colors. Customers have also been given two options to customize the new Alto K10 as per their choice.

These big updates in the new Alto

This new version of Maruti Suzuki’s Alto car is based on the company’s updated platform Heartect. The company started its booking a few days back. It is being booked at Maruti Suzuki Arena outlet or online for Rs 11000. Along with this, the company is also going to maintain the old version Alto 800 in the market. The company had released several teaser videos before its launch, from which information about many of its features had already been revealed. The company has given a 7-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system in the new Alto K10. This infotainment system has already been given by the company in S-Presso, Celerio and Wagon-R. Apart from Apple Car Play, Android Auto, this infotainment system also supports USB, Bluetooth and auxiliary cables. The company has also given a new design to the steering wheel in it. In this, the infotainment system’s mounted controls have been given on the steering itself.
