Navratri 2022 Day 9: Mahanavmi, the ninth day, is dedicated to Maa Siddhidatri, the ninth form of Goddess Durga.

All over the nation, Sharad Navratri, an auspicious nine-day holiday, is celebrated. During these nine days, devotees worship Goddess Durga in her nine different manifestations. On the ninth day or Mahanavmi, Goddess Durga’s ninth manifestation, Maa Siddhidatri, is worshipped. A list of mantras, stotras, and pujas for Maa Siddhidatri is provided below. Purple is the color of the eighth day of Navratri.

Navami Tithi begins on October 3 at 04:37 pm and ends in October 4 at 02:20 pm. The Brahma Muhurta will take place between 04:38 am and 05:27 am, the Abhijit Muhurta will take place between 11:46 am and 12:33 pm, and the Vijaya Muhurta will take place between 02:08 pm and 02:55 pm.

Maa Siddhidatri Maa

Maa Siddhidatri grants wishes to people who long for spiritual bliss. Maa Siddhidatri is sometimes referred to as AdiShakti, who is worshipped by Lord Shiva. In this form of the Mother Goddess, she sits on the lotus and holds the chakra and gada in her right hand, and the Shanka and lotus in her left. Those suffering from the adverse effects of Shukla Paksha (waxing phase of the Moon) worship Maa Siddhidatri to banish them.

Maa Siddhidatri Mantras

ॐ देवी सिद्धिदात्र्यै नमः॥

Om Devi Siddhidatryai Namah॥

सिद्ध गन्धर्व यक्षाद्यैरसुरैरमरैरपि।

सेव्यमाना सदा भूयात् सिद्धिदा सिद्धिदायिनी॥

Siddha Gandharva Yakshadyairasurairamarairapi।

Sevyamana Sada Bhuyat Siddhida Siddhidayini॥

या देवी सर्वभू‍तेषु माँ सिद्धिदात्री रूपेण संस्थिता। नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः॥

Ya Devi Sarvabhuteshu Maa Siddhidatri Rupena Samsthita।

Namastasyai Namastasyai Namastasyai Namo Namah॥

It is necessary to offer Gandham, Pushpam, Deepam, Sugandham, and Naivedyam (bhog) to Maa Siddhidatri during Panchopchara puja. Shringar items (sindoor, mehendi, kajal, bindi, bangles, toe rings, combs, aaltas, mirrors, anklets, perfume, earrings, nose pins, necklaces, red chunri, mahavar, hairpins, etc.) should be offered.

Worship Maa Siddhidatri and offer kheer and panchamrit as ‘bhog’.

Offering kheer and panchamrit as ‘bhog’ to Maa Siddhidatri is a form of worship.
