A festival known as Karwa Chauth is celebrated by Hindu believers who keep fasts for the well-being and long lives of their husbands during the second week of October each year. Despite the fact that the festival will be celebrated this year in the second week of October, there is some confusion over its time and date.
During Karwa Chauth fasting a married woman observes a fast from the point of sunrise to the time at which she breaks the fast after looking at the moon and asking Goddess Parvati for her blessings. Karwa Chauth fast is observed during Krishna Paksha Chaturthi in Kartik month of the Hindu calendar.
This year, the Chaturthi Tithi is going to start at 1:59 in the morning on October 13 and it will be over at 3:08 in the morning on October 14.
