An iPhone 14 launch event could take place on September 7, according to a recent report. Reports indicate that the company will stream the event online rather than hold it in person. Price predictions for the iPhone 14 start at $799 (roughly Rs. 64,000). Compared to last year’s iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max may carry a $100 price hike (around Rs. 8,000). The iPhone 14 Max’s price could be set between that of the regular iPhone 14 and that of the iPhone 14 Pro.
iPhone 14 series specifications and features (rumoured)
TSMC’s 5nm process technology is expected to be used in Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone Pro Max. It is also possible that Apple’s A15 Bionic chip will power both the regular iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Max. Because of their new cellular modem and internal design, the iPhone 14 and iPhone Max are expected to get a performance boost despite sharing the same chip.
In terms of the smartphone’s memory, there is no difference between the Pro and non-Pro models in terms of performance. According to a past report, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone Pro Max will feature 2TB of storage and 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Compared to iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Plus, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max are expected to feature slower 6GB LPDDR4X RAM.
Camera
Earlier this month, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted that the iPhone 14 line will feature an f/1.9 aperture lens with autofocus for its front camera. A 48-megapixel wide-angle sensor might also be appearing on the back of the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, according to Kuo.

There are rumors that the iPhone 14 will come with a 6.1-inch screen, while the iPhone 14 Max may feature a 6.7-inch screen. Additionally, the Pro models could have Always-on Displays (AODs). A leaked image apparently shows a pill-shaped cutout and a hole-punch slot on the iPhone 14 Pro screen protector. There are similarities between this design and previously leaked CAD renders.
Colors
New reports indicate that the iPhone 14 could come in black, blue, green, purple, red, and white. Gold, Graphite, Green, Purple, and Silver colour options are also likely to be offered on the iPhone 14 Pro. A 30W charging capacity and a bigger and heavier MagSafe battery may also be available on the iPhone 14 lineup, according to the report.
Battery
Battery capacity is also expected to be increased in the iPhone 14 series. According to rumors, the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Max each have a 3,279mAh battery, and the iPhone 14 Plus has a 4,325mAh battery. Furthermore, the iPhone 14 Pro could come with a 3,200mAh battery and the iPhone 14 Pro Max could have a 4,323mAh battery. As an added bonus, the Pro models may be equipped with a Lightning connector that supports USB 3.0 (5Gbps) speeds.
