iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus launched in India: Here Are The Top Specs, Price, And Sale Date About These Devices

A new series of iPhones have been released by Apple. Among the four models available under the iPhone 14 series are the iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Plus, the iPhone 14 Pro and the iPhone 14 Pro Max, as rumoured. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus come with an upgraded version of Apple’s A15 Bionic chip, which powers the entire iPhone 13 lineup. However, only the Pro models get Apple’s latest A16 Bionic chip.

Aside from the major upgrades to iPhone Pro models, Apple also makes modest but significant improvements to iPhone 14 and Plus, such as better low light cameras, satellite connectivity, and more. The iPhone 14 starts at the same price as the iPhone 13, so it is quite interesting. It costs Rs 79,900 for a 128GB model with 128GB storage. iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus Specifications, Including A List Of Features

Design: There is no change to the design of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14+, which both feature larger screens and a dual rear camera system at the back. The rest of the design stays the same as the iPhone 13, with a wide notch on the front and dual rear cameras at the back.

Display: The iPhone 14 features a 6.1-inch liquid Retina screen, whereas the iPhone 14 Plus boasts a larger 6.7-inch screen with slim bezels, wide colour gamut, HDR, and 1200nits brightness.

Processor: This iPhone 14 is powered by the 5-nanometer A15 Bionic chipset, which is coupled with a graphical processing unit (GPU) with five cores and an inverse neural network processor (NPU) with 16 cores.

Cameras: For selfies and video calls, there’s a 12-megapixel camera on the front that sits right in the middle of that wide notch. The 12-megapixel camera on the back isn’t present on the Pro models.

Battery: It has been confirmed by Apple that the iPhone 14 and the 14 Plus can last one full day with a single charge and offer better battery performance over the preceding iPhone.

Software: New iPhones run the new iOS 16 operating system out-of-the-box.

Variants: There are three storage variants available for both models, including 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus Price And Availability In India

With a 128GB storage capacity, the iPhone 14 starts at Rs 79,900 in India. In addition, the 256GB and 512GB models retail for Rs 89,900, respectively. For the base 128GB variant, the iPhone 14 Plus costs Rs 89,990, while the 512GB and 256GB models retail for Rs 99,900 and Rs 1,19,900, respectively.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus will begin on September 9 in India, with availability starting on September 16. The Plus model will hit stores on October 7 through Apple stores and authorized resellers.
