Maa Chandraghanta Temple

There exists an ancient and holy temple called ‘Maa Chandraghanta Mandir’. It is located in Prayagraj, which is famous by the name of Triveni Sangam, i.e. a place that is considered to be the third form of the goddess. It has been mentioned that this temple was constructed by the goddess herself in the form of a fire pyramid. 

In comparison with other days of the year, when there is a huge crowd of devotees in this temple, there is a smaller crowd on the days of Navratri as compared to other days of the year. People come here from far and wide to have darshan of Maa Chandraghanta.
