How To Lose Your Love Handles With Yoga Asanas And Exercises?

It can be covered up with the right outfit and not make you look fat because this bulge is often associated with emotional indulgence and acceptance. In contrast, “love handles”, which are fatty deposits above the hips on either side of the waist, may indicate that abdominal fat has been accumulated.

I would recommend yoga first because it helps shape your body, improves your agility, endurance, flexibility and mobility. It is also possible to reduce body fat ratios by following nutritional advice. Aside from improving body posture and stability, exercises also assist in improving body systems, organs and functions through yoga asanas.

By practicing the below given asanas and exercises for love handles, you will be able to improve your core strength and to speed up the process of losing weight.

REVERSE TRIANGLE

Straighten your back while bringing your right leg two steps ahead. Inhale, raise your arms to shoulder level. Exhale, twist and bring your left hand towards the right ankle. Hold for 10 counts. Inhale and slowly return to the starting position. Repeat on the other side.

WIDE CHAIR POSE – SIDE KICK

Inhale and go into a squat position with your legs three feet apart. Exhale, straighten your legs and kick sideways but alternating left and right. Inhale and come up.

BOAT POSE

Your feet should be together on your mat, arms at your sides, and fingers stretched towards your toes. Inhale, lift your upper body as you exhale, bend the knee, and extend your arms toward your feet. Slowly straighten your legs while feeling your stomach stretch. Hold your breath for at least 10 seconds and ensure your eyes, fingers, and toes are all in one line. Feel the stretch in your stomach area. Your body should be completely balanced on the buttocks.

Relax your upper body and legs by exhaling slowly.

ANANTASANA

Turn on your right side, lie on your back, and inhale. Lift your left leg up with your left hand, holding the toe or calf. Exhale slowly and lower your body.

Then combine the asanas with pranayama techniques like Kapalbhati and Mahabandha to complete the workout. There are also three yogasanas that can be performed, including Supta Vakrasana, Parshva Konasana, and Viparita Konasana.

OTHER EXERCISES

The above exercises can also be practiced on a regular basis, as well as side bends (Standing and Singing), twists, forward bends, squats, lunges, and planks. For example, one arm can prop oneself up on one side while doing a side plank. Place one leg atop the other, and raise your hips off the ground for 30 seconds. Follow the same procedure on the other side.

When performing twists, bend your knees and twist your torso to the left side. Hold your position for 30 seconds. Repeat this exercise 30 times. People can use weights to increase the challenge.

The easiest way to do crunches is to lay on your back on the floor with your legs raised and your knees bent. Then, extend your right leg fully and tilt your right elbow towards your left knee. Repeat on the other side.

Management Of Food

Managing food is also important for optimal results. Eating a well-balanced and nourished diet is key to losing weight.

Some healthy ways are as follows:

(1) Include more greens, cruciferous vegetables, and salads in your daily diet. 

(2) Include fresh fruits and vegetables in your daily diet.

(3) Add sprouts and lentils to your diet for more protein.

(4) Avoid foods that are fried, packaged, or processed.

(5) Drink enough water and herbal teas to stay hydrated.

Initially, love handles may not appear dangerous. However, as Indians tend to accumulate stubborn belly fat, trimming the waistline early on can prevent problems down the road.
