Disney Announces The Release Dates Of The Lion King Sequel, Snow White, Inside Out 2 And More

Some of Disney's most anticipated projects will be released in the coming months, including The Lion King sequel, Snow White, and Inside Out 2, among many others.

D23, the American production convention, announced some of Disney’s most anticipated projects have been released.

Pixar’s ‘Inside Out 2’ is scheduled to be released on June 14, 2024, and director Barry Jenkins’s ‘The Lion King’ sequel ‘Mufasa’ is set to release on July 5, 2024. Disney’s ‘Snow White’ starring Rachel Zegler is slated to hit theaters on March 22, 2024, Pixar’s ‘Inside Out 2’ on June 14, 2024, and director Barry Jenkins’s ‘The Lion King’ sequel

Additionally, Disney announced the release dates for the upcoming sports comedy film ‘Next Goal Wins’ by director Taika Waititi, which is slated for April 21, 2023, and the theme-park ride adaptation ‘Haunted Mansion’, which was previously scheduled to release on March 10, 2023, will now be released on August 11, 2023, Variety reported.

The release date of director Patty Jenkins’ ‘Star Wars: Rogue Squadron’ has been removed from Disney’s release calendar. The film was previously slated for December 22, 2023.

Star Wars: Rogue Squadron was expected to be the first new ‘Star Wars’ film since There are currently three separate ‘Star Wars’ films being developed between Disney and Lucasfilm, one by ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ helmer Waititi, the other by ‘The Last Jedi’ helmer Rian Johnson, and the third by Marvel boss Kevin Feige, but there is little information available about any of them, so Variety says it’s unclear which is going to hit theatres first.
